About Me

About this blog!

I, (Danella) started this blog for our family! I think 99% of the time I would be the one blogging. This blogging world is new to me; I have been wanting to share this new stage of our lives with our friends and family! We love you all and welcome to our blog :]

A son's love

**by Samantha Richter ** Tiny hands, tiny feet. I've waited so long for us to meet. Who could've known a love so true. Innocent and perfect, you're safe within my arms. I'll watch over and protect you, I'll keep you safe from harm with mischief in your smile and wonder in your eyes. Watching you as you sleep, feeling every sigh, I could look at you for hours, and always be content. you became my living angel; when you were heaven sent. just the thought of you, makes my world seem full... you are my life, my love, my son: my precious Lucas

I Am Not Alone

( Author: Unknown ) Running errands and talking on the phone, I am pleasantly reminded that I am not alone. Little tiny hands, a precious rounded knee, pushing and twisting that no one can see. Oh sweet child kicking up your heels, it is our little secret that only I can feel. I look forward to your birth, when I can kiss your skin, but for now I will just smile, as I feel you play within.

Larcomar

Andrew and I decided to go to Larcomar. It is a mall next to the sea. Estela or Talia would always go with us and show us places but this time we decided we could go to Larcomar even though it is about an hour away from my parent's house.

Larcomar
It was a really cold night

*** El Parque del amor***
After enjoying a little lucuma chocolate cake at the mall, we decided to go to al Parque del Amor (Love Park) Every couple must go to El Parque del Amor.  We heard it was close to Larcomar and we decided to find it.

We found this on the way... a bit weird...
We were a bit worried because we had walked for more than 20 minutes and still found nothing.  I thought it was going to be right next to Larcomar.
We were so .... that's right... LOST!

We kept walking and walking and asking... and yay... and we found it!!!...

We decided to copy them....

***Souvenirs***
I forgot to mention that we went to a Feria were they sold all these amazing Peruvian souvenirs.

Making a scarf

***"Los potitos"***
Andrew couldn't take his eyes off this little thing.  I told him that we should look for other souvenirs and then decide which one to buy.  It didn't matter how beautiful the other souvenirs were, he was still thinking in "el potito" (en realidad ese es el nombre! xD!).  These are made out of gourd.  The daughters of the seller painted these nice drawings on them.  Here is a close up:

And here is how they look like at home
