About Me

About this blog!

I, (Danella) started this blog for our family! I think 99% of the time I would be the one blogging. This blogging world is new to me; I have been wanting to share this new stage of our lives with our friends and family! We love you all and welcome to our blog :]

A son's love

**by Samantha Richter ** Tiny hands, tiny feet. I've waited so long for us to meet. Who could've known a love so true. Innocent and perfect, you're safe within my arms. I'll watch over and protect you, I'll keep you safe from harm with mischief in your smile and wonder in your eyes. Watching you as you sleep, feeling every sigh, I could look at you for hours, and always be content. you became my living angel; when you were heaven sent. just the thought of you, makes my world seem full... you are my life, my love, my son: my precious Lucas

I Am Not Alone

( Author: Unknown ) Running errands and talking on the phone, I am pleasantly reminded that I am not alone. Little tiny hands, a precious rounded knee, pushing and twisting that no one can see. Oh sweet child kicking up your heels, it is our little secret that only I can feel. I look forward to your birth, when I can kiss your skin, but for now I will just smile, as I feel you play within.

I don't want this feeling to go away

Days at home were also AMAZING. Just doing nothing feels good. One day, Talia and Sandro cooked papa rellena until we felt like hippos, then we played UNO. Our new favorite siblings’ game + Andrew + Sandro (sometimes, “Sandrew” to name both of them).

Aside from parents, my siblings are one of the FUNNEST thing to have. Somehow, we always get our goofiest sides and we no longer are 26, 24, 21, 17 or 11. We are all just one age (not sure what specific age though, I guess it depends: D) and start having fun like there’s no tomorrow. We like to tell jokes and sometimes make fun of each other in a silly way. We love each other so much. Andrew and his siblings are silly when they get together too. We come from big families and we don’t want just one child, he/she would get bored TO DEATH! We want at least 4… 5 if possible. Many people say that I will change my mind when I give birth to my first child haha, but if my momma did it, I can do it too! I want to have many children and I want them to enjoy each other and have as much fun as I did when growing up and as I am even though I’m far away from most of them.
I love my siblings!!! And I love it when my dad says, “Somos una familia numerosa”

Cocinando papitas rellenas

Listo para comer!

La papa que esta solita en el plato rojo fue un experimento...
Talia y Sandro cocinando más papitas
Luego de comer... a jugar!

Y Andrew se ofreció a lavar los platos... yo tmb!

Nuestro juego favorito: UNO!

Bajamos la tele a la sala para jugar Wii con todos

Creo que estas fotos son de otro dia... otra vez jugando UNO jajaja... nos quedabamos hasta tarde!

Talia, "Omg, I only have one card, this has to be it!"
Sad... I had a lot of cards, I always lost :(

I love my sister Talia because she is so smart, she gets A’s in all her classes and I am so proud of her. She just has the dearest feelings towards others and I am amazed on how patient especially with children. She always tries to be better and is an example for us. She always helps me and others unconditionally; for example, right before we were about to come to Utah, Talia and Sandro helped us picked something that Andrew needed. I was surprised on how hard they looked around and how much effort they put in that. Thank you!

My bro Wilo is such an example too. He just came back from his mission and started his summer semester right after 2 weeks of his arrival. He got all A’s even though he thought he wouldn’t do it. He always tries to live the Gospel and I think he is the one who laughs the most with me. We would watch these videos over and over again (for around 15 times) in slow and fast motion and still laugh at the 15st time as much as we laugh in the 1st time.

Estela is just a pure example of hard work. She always gets things done. ALWAYS! I look up to her because she is so young, yet, so responsible. I love how determined she is and how smart she is. You can talk to her about any topic and she would know and if she doesn't, she dives into the conversation so much and soaks the information you have and still can develop a high quality conversation.

Joshito is the baby of the house, I love him because he is always smiling. No matter what. There was one time that I was teasing him and he said, "Don't, I am in a bad mood." It surprised me! But after literally 3 minutes and 42 seconds he was so happy already. I wish my bad mood changed that quick!

I love my siblings! :)

One Sunday, our family invited the missionaries for lunch...

Talia always offers to help cook.

Confused

Mama y Monjita

Yuquitas fritas

I promise I also helped cook but I always was the one taking the pictures! Plus, there was one time in which Andrew and I decided to impress the family with our German Pancakes, I feel embarrassed to say what happened... but somehow the glass pan cracked and then it broke! The German pancakes were ready to be taken out and Andrew offered to take them out and then after he placed the glass pan on the counter, it broke and we were afraid to eat them because we were scared that there were tiny glass chips in the pancakes.  So, we had to throw the whole thing away :( :(

Conejín!!! this is our dog, LITERALLY

I love Sundays... food... family... no stress, relax... food again... sleeping...

  1. AWWW Dane!!!! I LOVE IT!! You had such a great time with your family!! You know, as kind of an 'only child' (even though I was the younger of 6, I basically grew up by my self) I see what you have and it makes me 1)sad that I missed out in having a fun childhood with fun siblings, and 2)shows me how I want my future family to be!
I really love each and every single person in your family! I hope I can go visit them again sometime, because last time it was really, really short, I mean 1 day is not enough!.... And you really made me hungry! I want some papa rellena and yuca frita right now!!!! LOL! and from the past post, I really, really want some anticuchos, and a piece of that lucuma cake!!! YUMM!! :D
