A son's love

I Am Not Alone

( Author: Unknown ) Running errands and talking on the phone, I am pleasantly reminded that I am not alone. Little tiny hands, a precious rounded knee, pushing and twisting that no one can see. Oh sweet child kicking up your heels, it is our little secret that only I can feel. I look forward to your birth, when I can kiss your skin, but for now I will just smile, as I feel you play within.

Yupi!

Finally! My first post on my own blog... I think some times I will be blogging in English and other times in Spanish. I am so grateful to have married a wonderful man. We have been married 4 months and we still have eternity to go! I kind of suck at writing journals; that's why I thought this would be a wonderful idea!! I really don't know what else to say for starters, but you could write a comment :D

    If you say that you are really bad at journal writing, I will say that I am AWFUL at keeping in touch... so I love this!! I think that I am JUST as excited for you to have this blog as you are!!! I can't wait to experience your lives through this venue. You are truly an amazing woman and I'm so glad that you and Andrew have chosen each other! Love you, hermanita!!

    Dan is right, she will be doing probably about 99% of the posts, but I think I'll chirp in every once in a while. Just so that you know what is going on in our lives... Dan and I are both in our senior years of college, Dan is finishing up her masters degree in public administration with an emphasis in health, and I am finishing up my bachelors in political science with a minor in latin american studies. After this semester I'll be a part time student (justing to get some grad school requirements done), and Dan will have two semesters left. So, it is time to grow up and find a job! Scary... I'll be taking the foreign office exam on Feb. 10 which is the first part of the application for a very exciting career, but if I don't pass... well... I'll have two more tries before Dan graduates...
