A son's love

New year!

HAPPY 2013!!
Andrew's sister, Melanie, came from Boston to Utah for a few days before heading off to Idaho for school.  It was nice to go out dancing with our siblings on New Years!! We went down to Provo and had a lot of fun.  We even took a bottle of sparkling cider to celebrate the countdown.  We just forgot to take an opener!!! Just 2 minutes before midnight, Wilo and Andrew had to rush out to find something to open the bottle.  Melanie, Estela and I were anxiously waiting because the DJ started the countdown and we thought Andrew and Wilo weren't going to make it.
10! 9! 8! 7! -- Wilo and Andrew came running and there was time to hug and celebrate!! :)

Meri Krismas

I love Christmas time!! It means family time, relaxing days and GOOD FOOD! We spent this Christmas at our place. Wilo and Estela came from Provo.  My uncle Orlando came from Kaysville.  We had a good time. I am glad we have family in Utah! Our families are in Boston and Peru and it is hard to get together on the holidays.

This year my siblings, uncle, Andrew and I gave each other gifts.  Also, we played Secret Santa with Andrew's siblings.  We had a lot of gifts! It was very exciting!

I can't believe next year Andrew and I will have our baby boy in our arms for Christmas.  The thought of it makes me smile and get anxious to meet my little baby.
I am grateful to have a family. I have the husband I always dreamed of, I have great parents who raised me to be the woman I am today; and awesome parents-in-law.  I am happy I can say my relationship with them is amazing!!!
This Christmas, I am also thankful for the sacrifice that our Savior did for us. There is no other way of going back to our Heavenly Father's presence. He died for us.  I feel I need to look for better ways to show Him how much I appreciate this gift.

Baby shower time!



Andrew, Estela and Alyson organized a baby shower for me a few weeks ago.  I am grateful for what they did! Estela and Alyson made awesome food for the party and Andrew made an excellent chocolate angel food cake.  It was amazing. 
I had so much fun watching everybody play the games.  I am so thankful for those who came to the baby shower especially those who traveled from far.
Andrew and I had so much fun after the baby shower; we opened all the presents and imagined ourselves with our little one.  Baby clothes and baby accessories are simply so cute. I hope this baby feels the love his parents and friends have towards him.
