About Me

About this blog!

I, (Danella) started this blog for our family! I think 99% of the time I would be the one blogging. This blogging world is new to me; I have been wanting to share this new stage of our lives with our friends and family! We love you all and welcome to our blog :]

A son's love

**by Samantha Richter ** Tiny hands, tiny feet. I've waited so long for us to meet. Who could've known a love so true. Innocent and perfect, you're safe within my arms. I'll watch over and protect you, I'll keep you safe from harm with mischief in your smile and wonder in your eyes. Watching you as you sleep, feeling every sigh, I could look at you for hours, and always be content. you became my living angel; when you were heaven sent. just the thought of you, makes my world seem full... you are my life, my love, my son: my precious Lucas

I Am Not Alone

( Author: Unknown ) Running errands and talking on the phone, I am pleasantly reminded that I am not alone. Little tiny hands, a precious rounded knee, pushing and twisting that no one can see. Oh sweet child kicking up your heels, it is our little secret that only I can feel. I look forward to your birth, when I can kiss your skin, but for now I will just smile, as I feel you play within.

Finals, symphony and little sister!

Fall Semester 2011

Andrew and I are done with finals! We can breathe now ... at least for a little while.  Andrew still has some research to do and me... well... I can only breathe until January 9th.  This was one of the busiest week all year long! We could literally build a Tower of Babel out of Andrew's books.  There are books all over our apartment, living room, kitchen, our bedroom... downstairs...
We love school though, even though there were many times that Andrew and I wanted quit... in reality, we will never quit :) I mean, that would be dumb, right? especially being just a semester away from graduating!

And we wanted to do this!!!!

Celebration!

To celebrate the end of Fall semester, we went to the Symphony at the Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake CIty. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.  We have never gone to a ballet-circus type with the symphony playing with them.  It was a thrilling experience.

THIS WAS DEFINITELY THE BEST BEST BEST BEST PART!!
Here are some pics of us!

Estela and BYU
My sister is here!! She is getting her degree in International Relations at BYU.  Like all of us, she came at 17 years old. I know my parents and other siblings are sad in Lima, but we are so happy to have her in Provo so close to us! She went to LA and then came to SLC.
So happy for her and so proud of her because she came all the way from Peru to get a degree here in the States. With Heavenly Father's help she overcame every obstacle and He has given her the opportunity to develop her skills and get an education here.  YAY x 10000 !!!
